Age of Stupid documentary screening

The Climate Action Partnership in collaboration with the Conservation Communications forum, Endangered Wildlife Trust, the British Consulate General, and SANBI invite you to a screening of “Age of the Stupid” – a documentary starring Pete Postlethwaite and directed by Franny Armstrong, about an elderly man living in 2055 looking back on a world which has seen the impacts of climate change. The screening will be followed by an interactive panel discussion chaired by Peter Johnston of the Climate Systems Analysis Group of UCT, and including the chief director (Dr. Guy Midgley) and senior specialist scientist (Dr. Phoebe Barbard) of SANBI’s climate change and bioadaptation programme and climate change policy officer of the British Consulate General (Dr. Suzanne Carter).

The screening will take place at the Kirstenbosch Research Centre Seminar room on the 16th of September at 17h00 for 17h30, and entry is at no charge.
