Conservation South Africa to present at Climate Smart Agriculture Workshop, April 24 - 25

The Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sector in South Africa, being particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change and variability, wishes to explore the concept of Climate Smart Agriculture, share perception and challenges with stakeholders. The workshop, titled ‘A pathway towards development and food security,’ takes place in Kempton Park, South Africa. It aims to identify key elements, to propose policy options for sectoral engagements, and to give participants a chance to probe the concept in order to have a clear understanding, in view of its proposed implementation under the UNFCCC process. Conservation South Africa's CEO Sarah Frazee, will present on the subject ‘Farmer’s perspective on Climate Smart Agriculture.’
